Guided Healing for Meaningful, Transformative & Long-Lasting Change

Depression & Mood Regulation Therapy

When life feels heavy, stuck, or emotionally unpredictable…

We offer a gentle, supportive, & holistic approach to wellness

Depression can often feel heavy, isolating, and utterly exhausting. It often shows up not only as sadness, but as numbness, low motivation, irritability, brain fog, or a sense of disconnection from yourself and the world around you. For many people, these experiences are deeply connected to chronic stress, trauma, grief/loss, nervous system overactivation, or long-term emotional strain.

Our approach to depression and mood dysregulation is holistic, trauma-informed, and compassionate, recognizing that healing is not about pushing through or “fixing” yourself—but about creating safety, understanding, and support for your whole system.

A Trauma-Informed, Holistic Perspective

Rather than viewing symptoms of depression or mood dysregulation as a personal, therapy explores how your nervous system, body, emotions, and life experiences interact. It’s not about forcing positivity or “getting out of it.” Symptoms are often adaptive responses to overwhelm, unmet needs, and prolonged stress. We give you tools to build insight, awareness, safety, and regulate of the system as a whole.

Who May Benefit

  • Feel persistently sad, empty, lonely, numb, disconnected, or detached
  • Feel overwhelmed & burned out by daily tasks, responsibilities, decision-making
  • Experience mood swings, irritability, emotional shutdown
  • Struggle with finding motivation, fatigue, or loss of pleasure
  • Trouble calming your nervous system
  • Notice symptoms increased when connected to trauma, grief and loss, transitions, or burnout
  • Feel “functionalon the outside, but exhausted on the inside
  • Prefer a non-pathologizing, holistic approach to mental health
  • Want therapy that is gentle, flexible, and in line with your own pace

In our work together, we may help you:

  • Understand the roots of your depression and mood patterns
  • Learn how your nervous system responds to stress and emotional pain
  • Develop tools to regulate intense emotions or emotional numbness
  • Reduce overwhelm, rumination, and emotional reactivity
  • Reconnect with meaning, pleasure, and a sense of self
  • Build self-compassion instead of self-criticism
  • Create sustainable emotional balance rather than short-term coping

Somatic & Body-Based Support

Depression and mood dysregulation is often “stored” or “stuck” in the body as much as the mind. By incorporating evidence-based somatic and body-based healing modalities, we can gently and mindfully regulate and calm the nervous system to restore a sense of connection and vitality.

Depending on your unique needs and goals, therapy may include:

  • Gentle somatic awareness and grounding techniques
  • Nervous system regulation and stress-reduction practices
  • Breathwork, guided imagery, or mindfulness-based approaches
  • Support for reconnecting with bodily cues, energy, and emotional states
  • Sessions are collaborative, and paced to support stability, self-compassion, and meaningful change
  • Understand emotional patterns and mood shifts
  • Develop gentle coping strategies
  • Process grief, loss, or unresolved emotional pain
  • Rebuild a sense of meaning, connection, and self-trust
  • Learn to respond to yourself with kindness and compassion rather than self-criticism

Healing happens when you are met with attunement, curiosity, and care.

We offer a supportive space to reconnect with yourself, restore balance, and explore new ways of relating to your inner world— slowly, steadily, and with compassion.
