Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Ashley Pruitt, MA, NCC, LCPC
My name is Ash and I love helping others recognize and connect with their most authentic self. I enjoy working with people who are at a crossroads in their life—people who are looking for support as they discover new dimensions of their identity and who want to explore alternative ways of Being. Blending traditional talk therapy with somatic experience, I use collaboration, curiosity, humor, mindfulness, Polyvagal technique, and principles of yoga to help clients work through challenges holistically. Operating from an existential-humanistic framework that is informed by interpersonal neurobiology, I provide a dedicated space for clients to be human without shame.
I specialize in addressing both past and present trauma, particularly complex and relational trauma, as well as late-diagnosed neurodivergence. I work particularly well with people who identify as queer or gender non-conforming, although I am adept at supporting people across a diverse spectrum of identities. Clients stuck in patterns of intellectualizing or people-pleasing, who feel lost and disconnected, or who want to make meaning out of their experiences seem to align well with my therapeutic approach.
