Lotus Wellness Center, www.lotuswellnesscenter.com, is a mental health counseling and alternative health and wellness group. Our mission is to hold a welcoming, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space for our clinicians and clients. Our current group of incredible practitioners bring forth their unique styles, experience and diverse eclectic practices that integrate the mind, body, and spirit as a whole. We offer a range of more traditional psychotherapies such as CBT, Jungian, Internal Family Systems, psychodynamic, and ACT, psychological evaluations and assessments; specialized trauma care and multicultural approaches; somatic modalities, brainspotting, and EFT tapping; as well as alternative healing modalities including mindfulness meditation, clinical and spiritual hypnotherapy, energy psychology, therapeutic yoga, career and life coaching as well as body oriented modalities: brain/gut, migraine care, acupuncture and chiropractic care.

Ideal candidates:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or a related field
- Active Illinois license (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psy.D)
- Active Liability insurance
- Knowledge of the DSM 5 & comorbidity; effective assessment and treatment of mental health disorders, particularly: anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, grief and loss
- Training in EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, CCTP, IFS, or another trauma related training is a plus but can be done while working with us
- Experience with CTB, DBT, and/or ACT is a plus
- Motivated, self-directed and enthusiastic to learn therapists who are looking to contribute their skills and expertise to assist clients
- Great communication skills and ability to collaborate in an integrative team environment
- In-office (Palatine, IL) availability with virtual options
- Interest in working with teens, adults, couples (depending on your experience and interests and expertise. Most of our clients are over the age of 18)
- Immediate start time currently available

- 1099 Independent contractor position (payments are distributed every two weeks)
- Flexible hours allow you to create your own schedule. Due to the demands of clients, candidate are required to offer at least two evening hour days and possible weekend availability (several hours on a Saturday morning as an example).

- Billing department – verification of insurance benefits for clients, processing/reprocessing of insurance and collections
- For clinicians who are fully licensed- credentialing with our group
- Use of office space and access to resources (including group therapy room)
Requirements:
- Schedule appointments in a timely manner and help maintain the “cancellation list” and “emergency” appointment openings
- Create charts electronically charts, send initial paperwork and assessments after scheduling appointments
- Learn about insurance and billing for mental health services (we screen initial clients, verify their insurance and inform of the benefits)
- Apply evidence-based practices to support clients with co-occurring conditions
- Perform intake interviews & assessments
- Complete clinical notes and documentation in a timely fashion
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Supervision (if required) or Consultation (if fully licensed, optional) with the Clinical Director – once a week in a virtual, group setting.
- Caseload review and case presentation
- Discussion of clinical rapport, assessment, treatment plans, interventions and tools
- Discussion of innovative treatment modalities and integrative health and well-being modalities
- Flexible schedule; work can be conducted remotely
