I had a very positive experience with Dr. Liana Gerdov at Lotus Center. She is extremely empathetic, kind, humble, open-minded, and very easy to talk to. What impressed me most was her deep understanding of trauma, psychology, and the mind-body connection. In my past experiences, some professionals seemed to hypothesize or force connections that did not really resonate with me. With Dr. Liana, it felt very different. She listened carefully and, within only a few sessions, was able to identify deeper patterns and roots in a way that genuinely made sense to me. She also comes across as very sincere and genuinely focused on helping, without unnecessarily wasting your time or money. The communication with the staff at Lotus Center has also been professional, responsive, and pleasant. I just want to say that she is truly an amazing and wonderful individual who has helped me a lot since then. I have another therapist who I see weekly, but I did need additional help. I researched online other treatments of therapy as I was not in a good state mentally, and I discovered that hypnotherapy was real and helped a lot of people break free from habits and connect with themselves. With this information I talked to my weekly therapist about whether or not this would be something I should do. He believed it was the right course of action and that it would be something effective for me and my mental well-being. I found Lotus Wellness Center out of sheer luck and reached out with the issues I was having and my interest in hypnotherapy. Leo (the owner, and my chiropractor), reached back out to me, obtained my insurance information and confirmed with me my interest with treatment with one of their specialists. He directed me to Haley. I still remember pulling over into a neighborhood and having my consultation with her in the car. We discussed everything I was going through and she explained to me more about how hypnotherapy works. I believe that if I did not get to experience or go through this, my healing journey would have taken way longer and I would not be where I am today without it or her. I smoked for over 22 years and tried quitting multiple times with no success. I tried weening, cold turkey, nicotine replacement, as well as prescription medication over the years. Being close to forty now, I decided I would give hypnosis a try with admittedly very little expectations. All I can say is, I have now been smoke free for months, only had several cravings in the first few weeks, and know that my deadly habit is now a thing of the past! When cutting back or trying to quit in the past, I always missed smoking- that is not the case today. The thought of lighting up has nothing on me now and doesn't even cross my mind anymore.
