Dominika welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and across different stages of life. Her counseling interests include anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts and emotions.
Her counseling style is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to each client’s needs. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help clients move toward meaningful lives that reflect their personal values.
Dominika brings over 10 years of corporate experience and holds a master’s degree in business. As a Polish immigrant and bilingual Polish-English speaker, she values cultural identity and understands the experiences involved in adapting to a new culture and balancing different family and cultural expectations.
Dominika is completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Chicago. She is a Mental Health Associate under the supervision of Clinical Director Dr. Liana Gerdov.
